Workshops are held during KLF for children. Over 400 school children from public and private schools including Hindi medium schools and those run by NGOs in the rural areas have attended the workshops. Eminent writers and poets – Jerry Pinto, Siddhatha Gigoo and Abha Iyengar conducted these workshops. Children from schools in and around Dhanachuli were invited to KLF and attended the select sessions in batches of 50 each the first 3 days and 100 the last 2 days.
Workshops were organised at The Doon School, Dehradun which was attended by prominent schools in Dehradun. Another workshop was organised at Anushruti, IIT Roorkee for speech and hearing impaired children. Jerry Pinto, Abha Iyengar and Fouzia Dastango mentored the kids and interacted with them, telling them about new ways to express themselves.
The two day workshop was a grand success resulting in students writing and telling their own stories.
